Bunjevke: Ecofeminism & Memory Culture
Bunjevke: Ecofeminism & Memory Culture is a web-based artwork in which the website itself functions as the artwork. It does not document memory; it activates it. Through fragmentation, non-linear navigation and intentional incompleteness, the project resists fixed narratives and archival closure.
The work explores Bunjevke minority memory, female cultural presence and ecological knowledge within a digital environment that remains unstable and open. Photography, textual fragments, archival traces and AI-generated imagery coexist without hierarchy. Images are partial, texts are interrupted, and navigation is open-ended, reflecting the fragile and unfinished nature of collective memory.

Rather than preserving cultural heritage as static material, the project translates endangered narratives into a living digital process. Loss, interruption and disappearance are not concealed but rendered visible and active. AI-generated mythic figures and nature-based symbols mark points of transition between absence and presence, past and present.

Metamorphosis is understood as a continuous movement between Being and Becoming. Ecology, feminism and technology intersect as conditions of responsibility rather than themes. Memory functions here as a living, vulnerable process, and remembrance becomes an ethical act grounded in care, resistance and transformation.
